BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

By placing an order with Fresh Beauty Academy you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions

Booking Fee: In order to secure a space on a Fresh Beauty Academy training course (online or in our training academy) we allow students the option to pay only a part-payment of the total course cost. This is known as our 'booking fee'.

 

Remaining Balance: The full remaining balance (which is the total course cost minus the booking fee) must be received no later than 5 working days before the practical training session date. Failure to pay this balance may automatically cancel any reserved space on a course and forfeit any booking fees already paid.

 

Cancellation: If you can no longer attend your booked course date, or otherwise wish to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can do our best to help.

 

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 we will treat you as a consumer ('You'). We will consider our training courses as a service ('Service') that Fresh Beauty Trainig Academy ('We' 'Us' 'Our') provides. As part of Our Service You will also receive material benefits in the form of course materials which are available as digital downloads ('Course Materials'). 

 

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 provides that You have a 14 day cooling off period from the date the Service was arranged (the date You booked your course) to notify Us that You wish to cancel. 

 

For all accredited courses (whether taught online or in person) Our Service to You will be considered to begin from the time that You booked Your course, and if the notice of your cancellation request is received within the 14 day cooling off period You will be charged an amount equivalent to the value of the course materials, plus admin/teaching time that You have benefited from ('Charge'). This Charge is £50 and will either be invoiced to You or deducted from any refund You are entitled to (amount paid by You minus Our Charge).

 

After the 14 day cooling off period, the initial booking fee as well as any final balances paid are strictly non-refundable.

 

If it is 24 hours or more before your course, but outside of the colling off period, and you subsequently find that you can not attend your course, at the absolute discretion of our management team we will transfer your place to a new date subject to a £25 administration charge for online courses or £75 for academy courses.

 

For cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, or in the event of a no-show, no refunds or transfers will be permitted and full payment would be due to secure another training date.​

Please do not move your booking yourself, even if this option is showing to be available in the members area of your account, without first checking with a member of staff.​

 

Fresh Beauty Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course and will provide as much notice as possible. In the unlikely event that this is necessary, places will be transferred to the next available date with no admin fee. We accept no liability for any losses.

Summary Table of Cancellation Policy:

 

Payments: Once a booking is made, this is final and no price difference can be refunded in the event of a later course price reduction or special offer. Similarly, the price advertised at the time you book your course will be honored and your booking will not be affected even if there is a later price increase.

 

Patch Testing: For all academy courses that require a patch test, your model will need to arrange an appointment at the academy 48-72 hours prior to your training date. It is your responsibility to ensure this happens as failure to come in for a patch test may result in the cancellation of your place on the course and loss of any monies paid.

 

If you are studying an online course which requires a patch test, it is your responsibility to follow the instructions given by your tutor and to carry out the patch test with the required amount of notice, before your online practical training. It is also your responsibility to ensure any case studies are patch tested in line with your educator's instructions.

 

Course Kit Policy: Where indicated in the course outline information, you will be required to purchase a kit for use during your practical training session(s) and for any case studies that may be required thereafter. These can be viewed on our 'KITS & PRO PRODUCTS' page.

For online training courses, please remember to order your kit in plenty of time so that everything arrives ready for your Zoom call. For academy based courses please understand that we generally order kits according to demand and do not normally hold kits in stock, and therefore we will also require enough time to have your kit delivered to us from our suppliers before your practical training session at the academy.

 

Once assigned to you, the kit becomes your responsibility and will not be replaced or added to by Fresh Beauty Academy without further cost. The kits all contain more than enough product for training, and most kits also have plenty of product left for you to work on clients after completing your course. You will be unable to complete your training without the required kit, and no refunds will be given for failure to complete the course.

 

Refund requests for kits will be subject to suppliers T&C's. These terms do not affect your statutory rights and if your kit items are faulty or missing then this will be dealt with accordingly once proof is received.​

 

Professional Status: Fresh Beauty Academy supplies products to fully trained beauty industry professionals, or those in training under the supervision of our academy tutors. By placing an order for products with Fresh Beauty Academy you are confirming that you are not a Consumer for the purposes of the Consumer Credit legislation and for the purposes of Sale of Goods legislation, and that you are in business and purchasing the goods for the purpose of that business and not for personal use.

 

Customers should be qualified to use the products sold on this website. Goods are sold on the understanding that they will be used for their intended purpose. No responsibility will be accepted by Fresh Beauty Academy, for trained or untrained personnel without qualified supervision, using or misusing equipment or products supplied by us. As a business customer, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that you are insured for products that you are using and we reserve the right to ask you for proof of professional status.
