PRE-REQUISITES:

This course is suitable for beginners. No previous experience or knowledge is required.

PRICE:

£180 total cost. Pay in full or pay a £50 deposit to book your space, followed by the remaining £130 balance 5 days before your practical training.

Kit not included but all products required are supplied for your use in the academy.

COURSE STRUCTURE

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with details for how to gain access to our website's Student Zone. This contains your training manuals and pre-course study. There is a short quiz to check your understanding of the pre-course theory, but there are no time limits, and you can attempt these questions as many times as required.

You will then attend our academy for a 1/2 day practical session with your course educator, for either 121 or small group training (max. 3 students). For the practical learning you will watch demos and practice on your own nails. There will be lots of individual support so you can learn the treatment techniques, leaving confident to safely practice your new skills.

You will successfully complete this course by submitting one case study, with you working on a model, demonstrating that you have reached the required standard for the award of this course certificate by your Educator.

FURTHER INFORMATION

ACCREDITATION: This course is accredited by ABT and is suitable for arranging ABT professional insurance. For insurance with other providers, you should first check their specific requirements as their conditions may vary.

MODELS: You will be working on your own nails during this course, so PLEASE ARRIVE WITH BARE NAILS - no polish, products or enhancements. You must not have severely damaged nails. If you are unable to wear gel enhancements yourself you may bring a model to work on but please let us know in advance so we can accommodate them in our training space.

KIT: No kit is required for this course. Everything you need to complete the training will be provided on the day, and a full list with recommended products will be given by your educator for you to build your own kit following your training.

Please note - although you will not be required to work on anyone's feet during this course, we will discuss the relevant anatomy & physiology, toenail conditions and gel polish application relating to a gel polish application on toes. This will allow you to apply gel polish to toes professionally.
